There lived a moth named Amata passalis christened by J C Fabricius in 1781.
It lived happily until it met a spider
1- Spider injected its venomous fangs in the body of the moth
2- The moth retaliates!
It secretes some defensive liquid to free itself from the spider
3- The moth then mated happily and laid her eggs
4- Then strolls along a parasitoid within minutes after the moth lays eggs
....but then the parasitoid takes off,
Why?
Was it not her cup of tea...?
or who knows, something else put it off?
the surface chemistry of the eggs deterred her away?
5-The first instars emerges successfully….to defoliate sandalwoods.
